Janet was an 18 year old always scared of the dark. It wasn't because of monsters, rather because of people. One night, Janet heard a vase crash in her house. As she was home alone she crept to the bottom of the stairs with the winding chilling the back of her neck. There was a picture of her splattered across her carpet floors. Janet still felt a breathe brushing the back of her neck, but first reaction was to clean up this ominous splatter. After cleaning the photo, she went to the kitchen to wash up, when she saw an open window. However, their was a single pink spider web lazily resting within the creaks, and my monster, The Terrible Taster, was waiting in the shadows till Janet would get caught while closing the window. This monster is for boys 9-12. Beginning, many boys enjoy being scared. As well, I feel the idea of a pinkish monster is very foreign so I feel the color scheme is unique. I would hope this could one day be the basis for one of those scary stories book I use to read as a kid. In addition, schools often have those books in their libraries.
